Our Total Activity Manuka Honey is the combination of hydrogen peroxide found in ordinary honey and up to up to 10% of non-peroxide activity (NPA).
People have been using honey as a medicine or tonic for thousands of years, and it is the hydrogen peroxide properties of the honey that have provided the antibacterial benefits. Our Total Activity Manuka honey has been tested and found to have high levels of this property.
Recently Dr Peter Molan of NZ's Waikato University identified an additional antibacterial element found only in manuka honey; this is the non-peroxide activity (NPA). The NPA was found to be more stable than hydrogen peroxide and more effective in killing certain strains of bacteria. Our Total Activity Manuka honey has up to 10% of this property. - Is always packed fresh, and from the most recent harvest. The important nutritional properties of the honey will break down over time so we believe fresh honey is better honey.
- It has not had any excessive or prolonged heat treatments, with a maximum melting temperature of 40oC. High temperatures may kill the nutritional properties of the honey.
- It is unblended with other honeys.
- It comes from the one beekeeper, one apiary site so we can trace it back to the hive, and rely on a good consistent flavour, season to season.

Directions for Use:
Take 1-2 tbsp orally once a day for good general health.
Not suitable for infants under 12 months.
It is an excellent ingredient in your smoothie, or try it in a facemask, sweeten your tea, add in your cooking, or enjoy on toast.
Our natural honey should not interfere with any medication you may be taking, although diabetics should be careful of their blood glucose levels.
