Active Manuka HoneyManuka has recently become well known for its high antibacterial properties but it has long been regarded for its medicinal properties by New Zealand’s Maori people.  Our active manuka honey has been tested for its antibacterial properties so you can choose what type and level of activity you prefer.

You can choose from three grades of manuka honey:

Fresh Season Manuka Honey
We guarantee as unblended, fresh and creamy manuka honey.
Total Activity
The antibacterial component is the combination of hydrogen peroxide and up to 10% non-peroxide activity.
Exclusive Activity
The antibacterial component is the non-peroxide activity (NPA), which is additional to the hydrogen peroxide.  NPA was first identified by Prof. Peter Molan at NZ's Waikato University.
